FX’s New Comedy Series ‘Snowflakes’ Rounds Up Its Main Cast

The brand-new FX comedy pilot series entitled Snowflakes has finally pieced together its main cast. According to Deadline, the cast comprises of Tiktoker Jack Innanen (The Dessert, Very Really Good), Lucy Freyer (Paint, The Justice), Owen Thiele (Hacks, Theater Camp), Amita Rao (Live from the Raven Room, Suicide Note) and Malik Elassal (Joe Pickett, Fortunate Son)

As previously reported, the series was created by former The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon writers Rebecca Shaw (Wax Paul Now, There’s Something About My Sister) and Ben Kronengold (The Tonight Show) with Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia, Baskets) slated to direct. 

Deadline notes that the official logline for Snowflakes reads, “a twenty-something ensemble comedy following a group of codependent housemates trying to be good people, despite being neither ‘good’ nor ‘people’ yet.”

The five housemates are Anton, who will be portrayed by Thiele, Isaa, who will be portrayed by Rao, Billie, who will be portrayed by Freyer, Paul Baker, who will be portrayed by Innanen, and Samir, who will be portrayed by Elassal.  

Executive producers on Snowflakes include Alicia Van Couvering (Cop Car, Drinking Buddies) and Nick Kroll (Big Mouth, Sausage Party), who both oversee his Good at Business production banner. 

Additional executive producers include Shaw and Karey Dornetto (Arrested Development, Portlandia), who is the current showrunner on the Comedy Central series Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, alongside Krisel and Kronengold. 

In addition, Deadline also noted that Kroll has a first-look deal with his company, Good at Business, with FX Productions, which produces Snowflakes.

Strig Artist Management and UTA represent Elassal, Hansen Jacobson Teller, UTA and Entertainment 360 represent Thiele. MJ Management and Gersh represent Freyer, UTA represent Innanen. Authentic Talent & Literary Management and Grossman & Jack Talent represent Rao.
