FX has released the official trailer for the second season of Adults. According to Deadline, the upcoming installment will feature guest appearances from Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things, Animal Farm, Pizza Movie), Jake Shane (Hacks, Wishful Thinking, Too Much), Zosia Mamet (The Kids Are All Right, Girls, Cherry), Susie Essman (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bolt, Cop Out), Raven-Symoné (That’s So Raven, Raven’s Home, Dr. Dolittle 2), Isaac Powell (Past Lives, American Horror Story, Dear Evan Hansen) and Ben Marshall (Saturday Night Live, 72 Hours, Poker Face).
The comedy follows Samir, played by Malik Elassal (Office Romance, Resident Alien, Fortunate Son), Billie, portrayed by Lucy Freyer (Paint, The Wanderers, Jake’s Unemployment Summer), Paul Baker, played by Jack Innanen (Big Mistakes, The Office Movers, The Dessert), Issa, portrayed by Amita Rao (Wishful Thinking, Deli Boys, Emperor of Ocean Park), and Anton, played by Owen Thiele (Theater Camp, Overcompensating, Too Much), as the group navigates life while living together in Samir’s childhood home in New York City.
According to the official synopsis, the eight-episode season follows the friends as they confront new challenges involving careers, family relationships, friendships and adulthood while continuing to support one another through life’s successes and setbacks.
FX’s Adults originally premiered in May 2025, with its first season consisting of eight episodes. The series received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its humor, ensemble cast and portrayal of life in your twenties.

Season two of Adults premieres August 27 on FXX and Hulu.
