FX Reveals Official Trailer For Sixth And Final Season Of ‘What We Do in the Shadows’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX has revealed the sixth and final season of What We Do in the Shadows. In the new official trailer for the series, we see the vampire roommates in Staten Island as they begin to branch out and head out on their journeys. The sixth and final season premieres on FX on October 21 at 10 p.m., with the episode available on Hulu the following day

Below is the official trailer for the series.

Created by Jemaine Clement (Men in Black 3), the series is based on a feature film created by Clement and Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit). What We Do in the Shadows is a mockumentary series that follows the lives and misadventures of vampire roommates and their families. Throughout the series, the roommates and their familiars get into different types of mayhem, from joining the vampiric counsel to partying in a nightclub.

The cast of the series includes Kayvan Novak (Four Lions, Fonejacker) as Nandor, Matt Berry (Krapopolois, The Wild Robot) as Laszlo Cravensworth, Natasia Demetriou (PLS Like, The Festival) as Nadja, Kristen Schall (Gravity Falls, Bob’s Burgers) as The Guide, Harvey Guillen (The Life of Chuck, The Internship) as Guillermo de la Cruz, Mark Proksch (Portlandia, The Great North) as Colin Robinson, Antony Atamanuik (The President Show, Tiny Dinos) as Sean Rinaldi and many others.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the new season introduces former and fellow vampire Jerry, played by Mike O’Brien (Saturday Night Live, Sword of Trust), who has been in a deep slumber for more than 50 years. When he wakes up from his slumber, he yells out, “Happy New Year, 1996,” as he believes it is the year he was woken, and the rest of the roommates forgot to wake him.

FX teases that Jerry, waking up shows the rest of the vampires just how little they have done: “Not one goal accomplished, not one dream pursued, not one part of the New World conquered (except for their street and part of Ashley Street).”

What We Do in the Shadows is available to stream on Hulu.
