FX Releases Premiere Date for ‘American Horror Story: Coven’

The third season of the American Horror Story series will broadcast on Wednesday, October 9 at 10 PM.

Coven will be running for 13 episodes and will feature returning actors in a whole new story like last season’s Asylum, according to the network after an announcement today.

The season which is still in production with center around America’s hidden history of witchcraft. “Witches, facing extinction due to escalating attacks against them, send young girls to a special school in New Orleans so they can learn how to protect themselves,” according to Indiewire.

The beginning of season two of American Horror Story perputuated a fan base and won over initially skeptical critics that will could continue into the Coven.
