FX Releases Casting Updates For Drama Pilot ‘Seven Sisters’

FX is set to release another series with its new show Seven Sisters. In an article today with Deadline, the show geared up for the pilot with an exclusive update on the casting. 

The series is set to follow a seemingly perfect family with seven sisters who are inseparable. Only when one of the seven starts hearing and communicating with mysterious voices only she can hear, the sisters are forced to confront dark secrets buried in the past. So far, the show cast two out of the seven sisters Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision, Love & Death) and Cristin Milioti (Black Mirror, The Penguin). The remainder of the sisters cast were released in the article from Deadline. Joining the cast will be Meredith Hagner (Vacation Friends, Bad Monkey), Odessa Young (Mothering Sunday, The Damned), Zoë Winters (Jules, Succession), Bridget Brown (Chicago Justice, Wiener-Dog), and Carolyn Kettig (Exhibiting Forgiveness, Olive & Lynn).  

According to Deadline, other stars we’ll see in the cast are Anthony Edwards (Top Gun, Revenge Of The Nerds) starring as Paul Bosco, and J. Smith-Cameron (Succession, Vengeance) starring as Francesca. Philip Ettinger (I Know This Much Is True, One Dollar) stars as the eighth sibling.

According to Deadine, the official logline for the series reads “A tight knit family begins to unravel when a sister starts communicating with a voice that no one else can hear.”

Along with the familiar faces in the cast Deadline shared, fans can expect to see Will Arbery (Irma Vep, Succession) in the producer’s chair. As well as writing credits given to Sean Durkin (The Iron Claw, The Nest) fir the pilot episode. Garrett Basch (Next Goal Wins, Those Who Want Me Dead) is set to direct the series.

FX has yet to release a date for the pilot episode, but the series is confirmed to be in the works.
