The network announced its cancellation of the Danish-Swedish drama series after just two seasons, The Hollywood Reporter explains.
The Bridge followed two detectives on opposite sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. The series hails from Shine America, serving as the studio’s debut.
“We thank our partners at FX for their tireless efforts in developing and launching The Bridge with us. From its fresh, unique voice to its deep and diverse ensemble cast, this is a series that we are all very proud of,” the studio said in a statement.
