The Straw Hats pirates are making waves once again, with the live-action One Piece second season having concluded a major victory. Reported by Screenrant, since the season’s debut on March 10, which focuses on the crew’s ongoing journey through the grand line and battling Baroque Works, it has sailed with a flawless 100 % critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassing its predecessor. The returning members that have made the live adaptation so memorable consists of Iñaki Godoy (The Imperfects, MexZombies) as Luffy, Emily Rudd (Delicious in Dungeon, Hunters) as Nami, Mackenyu (Knights of Zodiac, Fullmetal Alchemist ) as Zoro, Jacob Romero (Rap Sh!t, FIVE) as Ussop, and Taz Skylar (Two Neighbors,) as Sanji.

Stated by Screenrant, the recently released season recreated iconic locations from the animated series, such as Loguetown and Drum Island. The new season also introduced other characters that joined the crew, such as Miss Wednesday, aka Robin, played by Lera Abova (Anna, Exterritorial); Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover (The Suicide Squad, Superman); and Brook, played by Martial T. Batchamen (Spiral, Lootere).

Screenrant reports, the Strawhat’s journey won’t be an easy one, as they have to combat rival pirate crews as well as the marines. They will also have encounters with crucial characters such as Vivi, played by Charithra Chandran (Bridgetown, Eternals) and Portugas D Ace, played by Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle, Cobra Kai).

Both seasons of the live-action One Piece are available to stream on Netflix, with future season all ready in the works.
