Fox has shared news for its upcoming and returning series. The company has released the premiere dates for its 2024 fall schedule, Deadline reports.
According to Deadline, first off, there is the premiere of Fox’s new animated series Universal Basic Guys. The series will debut on Sunday, Sept. 8, right after Fox’s NFL doubleheader. Fox Television President Michael Thorn shared in a special statement that Universal Basic Guys will be premiering as part of Fox’s new Animation Domination block.
“This year, we created a terrific collection of originals that deepens our network’s legacy of delivering unexpected, unforgettable characters and stories,” Thorn explained via Deadline. “We’re bullish about the future and optimistic about the fun and engaging entertainment in store for our viewers everywhere.”
According to Deadline, Fox’s Animation Domination block will be premiering Sunday, Sept. 29. This will include, in chronological order, new seasons of The Simpsons from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM ET/PT, Universal Basic Guys from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT, Bob’s Burgers from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM ET/PT and Krapopolis from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT.
For the TV series category, according to Deadline, Fox will premiere its new lifeguard drama, Rescue: HI-Surf, on Sunday, Sept. 22, right after the Fox NFL doubleheader. The show has John Wells (Shameless, The West Wing, ER) as executive producer/director and Matt Kester (Animal Kingdom, Outsiders) as executive producer/writer.
According to Deadline, the fifth season of Fox’s drama series 9-1-1: Lone Star will premiere Monday, Sept. 23, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT, Rescue: HI-Surf premiering right after from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT.
Fox’s new murder mystery series, Murder in a Small Town, according to Deadline, will have an exclusive 90-minute series premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM ET/PT. Beginning Tuesday, Oct.1, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT, the series will have its usual time-period premiere right after the season two premiere of Accused, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT.
According to Deadline, the Masked Singer will premiere its 12th season on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT. Right after, the second season of the game show The Floor will premiere from 9:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET/PT.
For the category of cooking shows, according to Deadline, Hell’s Kitchen will be returning on Thursday, Sept. 26, for its 23rd season, from 8:00 PM to 9 PM ET/PT, followed by Crime Scene Kitchen, which is returning for its third season, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET/PT.
According to Deadline, the other series that will premiere in the 2024-2025 season include Alert: Missing Persons Unit, The Cleaning Lady, Doc, Animal Control, Family Guy, Going Dutch, The Great North, Grimsburg, Unscripted: Extracted, LEGO Masters, LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, Next Level Chef, The Real Full Monty and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
