Fox News Channel Leads Cable News in Wake of LAX Shooting

More viewers turned to Shepard Smith and his Fox News Deck than CNN and MSNBC combined when news broke of the LAX shooting.

On November 1, an armed man opened fire at Los Angeles International Airport killing one person and injuring two more.

According to Deadline, during peak news hours of 10-1 PM PT, Fox News had 1.549 million viewers the day of the shooting. This is higher than its 3rd quarter average with 46% more viewers.

CNN had 807,000 viewers; MSNBC had 409,000 viewers during the time frame.
