In Accused, viewers discover how an ordinary person got caught up in an extraordinary situation, ultimately revealing how one wrong turn leads to another until it’s too late to turn back.
The cast of Accused includes Emmy winners Michael Chiklis (The Shield, Fantastic Four), Molly Parker (Deadwood, The Wicker Man), Margo Martindale (Your Honor, The Watcher), Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show, Malcolm & Eddie), Rhea Perlman (Matilda, Cheers), Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, August: Osage County), along with Whitney Cummings (Whitney, Made of Honor), Rachel Bilson (Jumper, The O.C.), Jack Davenport (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Kingsman: The Secret Service), Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Selma), and others.
According to TV Fanatic, Academy Award Winner Marlee Matlin (Switched at Birth, CODA), Emmy Winner Billy Porter (Pose, Cinderella), Renowned Indigenous Filmmaker Tazbah Rose Chavez (Reservation Dogs, Rutherford Falls), and Chiklis are all set to direct episodes.
The series, according to TV Fanatic, is “a collection of 15 intense, topical and exquisitely human stories of crime and punishment.”
