Eureka co-creator Jaime Paglia and former Fox comedy producer Marcus Wiley sell Romeo & Juliet drag racing drama to Fox.
Reported exclusively by Deadline, the drama was the idea of Paglia and producing partner James Middleton. The show follows two rival families who want power and prestige in the custom car shop and drag racing world of Southern California. The prodigal son and drag-racing daughter must navigate in a world of rival gangs, car-theft wings, gambling and corruption in order to leave their beginnings and start their lives.
The show will be executive produced by Paglia, Middleton and Wiley. Among other projects, Wiley has sold a comedy from Greg Malins at Fox.
