After playing the ex-wives of a U.S. Marshal on Justified and a serial killer on the Following, Natalie Zea is set to stir up some trouble of her own on CBS’ upcoming summer drama, Under the Dome.
Zea, playing a character named Maxine, will make her first appearance in episode nine and will recur throughout a few episodes, TV Guide reports. Executive producer Neal Baer describes her arrival as “alarming,” and hints that she will be connected to a number of the series’ other characters.
“If you think Jim Rennie (the series’ antagonist, played by Dean Norris) is trouble, you haven’t seen trouble yet,” Baer teased.
Zea’s future on the CBS series will likely be determined by her schedule for the Following, which will continue at midseason on Fox.
The highly anticipated Under the Dome premieres June 24.
