According to a Prime Video press release, Bjorn Landberg (Unter Uns, SOKO Wismar), Isabella Bucceri (Everything in Between, Finally Me), Nukaka Coster-Waldau (The Raven and the Seagull, Heart of Light), Salome Gunnarsdottir (Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Paris of the North) and Synnove Macody Lund (The Girl in the Spider’s Web, The Ash Lad: In the Hall of the Mountain King) were added to the cast of The Wheel of Time. Landberg plays the Clean Chief of the Taardad Aiel, Rhuarc. Bucceri portrays a Saldaean Hunter of the Horn, Faile Bashere. Coster-Waldau portrays Bair, the most respected member of the Taardad Aiel. Lund is a Malkieri survivor named Melindhra. Gunnarsdottir will be portraying a Wise One of the Taardad Aiel by the name of Melanie.

The official logline of The Wheel of Time via the press release is as follows: “a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor, learns he is The Dragon Reborn—a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world … or break it. The Wheel of Time turns, and the Last Battle approaches.”

TWOT, a series based on the fantasy book series by Robert Jordan (The Eye of the World, A Memory of Light), is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures. The series will debut March 13, 2025 exclusively on Prime Video. The previous seasons are available to stream on Prime Video as well.
