At the 2015 Comic-Con, the first teaser for American Horror Story: Hotel was released. Along with this short ten second teaser, character names were announced for the cast according to Entertainment Weekly.
The anthology series stars Kathy Bates (Harry’s Law) as Iris, Matt Bomer (The Normal Heart) as Donovan, Sarah Paulson (Game Change) as Hypodermic Sally, Angela Bassett (Malcolm X) as Ramona, and Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Mr. March (via US Magazine).
In late February, we reported on Lady Gaga’s casting for American Horror Story: Hotel. Fans of American Horror Story have grown in anticipation largely because of her casting for the upcoming season. The teaser focuses on a hand ringing the hotel concierge’s bell and is entitled “Front Desk”. The last bit of the teaser flashes ‘LADY GAGA’ across the screen. It is still not yet known who Lady Gaga will play but the creator of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, has announced that she will be evil (via Variety).
Murphy also mentioned how it is to work with the pop star, “When you work with someone like her, you sign up for something that is larger than life, and I think that’s what you want. Part of her role involves fashion. You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way. The designers have been coming out of the woodwork with looks for her”. At the panel he not only discussed Lady Gaga, but the reality of cast members returning from earlier seasons. Murphy announced that “things are connected, this season, you’ll see more and more and more of that. Characters from previous seasons will come check into the hotel” (via Variety).
According to American Horror Story‘s twitter, Lady Gaga is “ready to ring in a whole new horror this October”. Catch the teaser here:
