According to a Warner Bros. Discovery press release, HBO has issued first-look images for IT: Welcome To Derry. The Warner Bros. The television show was developed by Andy Muschietti (Mama, The Flash), Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift, La La Land) and Barbara Muschietti (The Brave and the Bold, Saga of the Scarlet Speed). The television series will premiere in 2025 on HBO and will be available for streaming on Max.
The logline of the horror TV show is as follows: “Set in the world of Stephen King’s “IT” universe, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is based on King’s “IT” novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films “IT” and “IT Chapter Two.”
The cats of IT: Welcome to Derry stars Bill Skarsgard (Deadpool 2, Eternals), Chris Chalk (The Red Sea Driving Resort, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt), James Remar (Sex and the City, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation), Jovan Adepo (Sorry for Your Loss, When They See Us), Madeleine Stowe (The Last of the Mohicans, Little House on the Praire), Rudy Mancuso (My Big Fat Hispanic Family, Rim of the World), Stephen Rider (Harley and the Davidsons, NCIS: Los Angeles) and Taylour Paige (Jean of the Joneses, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F).

The show is being produced by HBO and Warner Bros. Television. Skarsgard, Brad Caleb Kane (Aladdin, Tokyo Vice), Dan Lin (The Lego Movie, Lilo & Stitch), David Coatsworth (Fahrenheit 451, Greyhound), Fuchs, Roy Lee (Strange Darling, Them), Shelley Meals (Shadow and Bone, Sweet Magnolias), and the Muschiettis are the executive producers. Kane and Fusch wrote the pilot and are co-showrunners for IT: Welcome to Derry.
