After last week’s announcement that Lindsey Gort had been cast as Samantha Jones on the CW’s the Carrie Diaries, the Huffington Post has unveiled a first look at Gort in character.
Playing the role filled by Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City, Gort is a dead ringer for her predecessor. Executive producer Amy B. Harris describes her as “funny and sexy with a whiff of vulnerability and an amazing dash of outrageousness…[she] walked into the room and owned the part.” Appearance-wise, she certainly seems to fit: check out the photo below.
The Carrie Diaries returns October 25 at 8 PM on the CW.
