‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Actress Eloise Mumford to Star in ABC’s Drama Pilot ‘Warriors’

Eloise Mumford will star in the military medical drama, reuniting this way with the executive producer, Chris Keyser.

ABC has chosen its lead actress for the drama called Warriors. Fifty Shades of Grey’s Eloise Mumford will star in the military medical drama, as noted by The Wrap.

Warriors is inspired by the state-of-the-art Walter Reed Medical Center and centers the best active duty military doctors and nurses. The drama will show them while they are practicing trailblazing medicine on critically wounded warriors who are returning from Afghanistan. The medical staff will also practice their knowledge on military families and veterans, as well as administering to Washington’s government elite.

Eloise Mumford will play the lead role of Stacey, a surgical resident who sometimes feels overwhelmed by the sadness and emotional toll of her job. “Eloise is really special” said Chris Keyser, the executive producer of the show who also worked with the actress on Fox’s series Lone Star. He also said, “She is perfect for this role and our first choice. I couldn’t be happier or feel luckier that we have the chance to make Warriors together.”

Eloise Mumford recently wrapped filming Universal’s 50 Shades of Grey. Her credits also include Not Safe for Work and Drones. She’s repped by Paradigm.
