‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Teases Lennie James’ Morgan Crossover

It was announced several months ago that Lennie James (Morgan) would be the actor crossing from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead. As reported by IGN this week, teasers have been released showing his appearance as well as a new character named Althea (Maggie Grace).

While the clip of Morgan doesn’t provide much info, the voiceover noting “I lose people, then I lose myself” could foreshadow his taking off after the events of TWD season 8. The second clip featuring newcoming Maggie Grace provides even less since we don’t have much to go on regarding her character.

No details have been released as to exactly how Morgan will meet up with Madison (Kim Dickens) and her crew; however, theories include a significant season 4 time jump for Fear the Walking Dead. It would place them in the events after TWD season 8’s battle with the Saviors which leaves hope that Morgan survived.

AMC did release the following overview of the upcoming season:

We will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes — the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), joining the story from the world of The Walking Dead. The characters’ immediate past mixes with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats.  They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart.  There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; the heroic, mercenary, and craven, all crashing together towards a new reality for Fear the Walking Dead.

Fear the Walking Dead premieres April 15 on AMC.
