Summer is on its way, meaning more new anime is coming to the small screen. One of them is Dandadan. The anime will premiere on TV thanks to Science Saru. Furthermore, Comicbook.com re “Do you believe in aliens? Ghosts? Love?! Get the first look at Dandadan featuring director Fuga Yamashiro, voice actors Shion Wakayama (Momo) and Natsuki Hanae (Okarun), Science Saru producer Kohei Sakita, and MBS producer Hiroshi Kamei,” Anime Expo shared its newest schedule update, via Comicbook.com. The premiere will be on July 6 in the evening, at 7:30 p.m. EST. The anime’s cast and director will be present as special guests. The panel itself will inform fans on what the show has in store. According to Comicbook.com, the expectations for Dandadan are high, and the world premiere event could become the most-viewed one at this year’s Anime Expo.
Dandadan, according to Comicbook.com, started in April 2021, and its manga is available on the Shonen Jump App. For more information on the animated series, the official synopsis of Dandadan is available to read below: “Momo Ayase strikes up an unusual friendship with her school’s UFO fanatic, whom she nicknames “Okarun” because he has a name that is not to be said aloud. While Momo believes in spirits, she thinks aliens are nothing but nonsense. Her new friend, meanwhile, thinks the exact opposite. To settle matters, the two set out to prove each other wrong-Momo to a UFO hotspot and Okarun to a haunted tunnel! What unfolds next is a beautiful story of young love…and oddly horny aliens and spirits?”
Dandadan will premiere on July 6, as stated beforehand.
