The Griffin family is taking a trip to Springfield.
Family Guy is planning a crossover episode with the Simpsons, TVLine reports. The Simpsons voice cast will join that of Family Guy to explore what would happen when the Simpsons and Griffins finally meet.
According to initial reports, the two families pair off and quickly grow close. Homer and Peter will discuss beer while Bart and Stewie make mischief; Lisa will try to determine Meg’s talent while Marge and Lois become fast friends.
Fans of both series have plenty of time to speculate over the potential of this ambitious crossover: unfortunately, the episode is not slated to air until fall 2014.
