A total of 65 million viewers made the series the second most-watched title on Prime Video. The streamer has stated that the series has done very well with the 18-34 demographic for only being out for 16 days.

Fallout is currently the top series globally on the streamer. The series have done so well globally that a total of 60% of the audience for the series have been outside the United States. The series was renewed for a second season just one week after airing on Prime Video.
Fallout is based on a video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios owned by Microsoft. The series is its own stand-alone story but with many parts from the video games incorporated into the world. The series is set 200 years after an atomic war created an apocalyptic wasteland. The series follows the story of Lucy, a vault dweller, Cooper, a ghoul, and Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
