Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Flash), an actor who has been in the path of multiple controversies, seems to have landed a role in an animated series. According to Deadline, the actor has been recast in the Prime Video animated series Invincible. There was little publicity on the studio’s decision to recast Miller until now.
Miller, who has been the epicenter of several controversies and scandals throughout recent years, did previously voice the mad scientist role named D.A Sinclair during the first season of Invincible, but when the character appeared in a later episode, there was a completely different actor voicing the role. But, now in season two, it seems as if Miller has returned to voice his original role.
Miller has had an ongoing list of scandals and controversies surrounding them for several years now. Most recently in 2022 where they pled guilty to an alleged trespassing and burglary charge and case in the state of Vermont. They eventually pled guilty when prior to the hearing, they cut a plea deal. After this, and after several accounts with the law, Deadline reported that Miller did eventually agree to seek treatment for their mental health.
The show Invincible, in which Miller is now, yet again, a cast member, is based on a comic of the same title created by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead). The series centers around Mark Grayson, the 18-year-old average kid who is just living the same teenage life that everyone else seems to be living. But there is one minor difference. His dad is one of the most powerful superheroes on the planet. After a massive betrayal at the end of season one, the second season explores Mark’s struggles with rebuilding his life, and his massive internal battle with a deep fear of his, which is the fear he may inevitably become just like his father.
Invincible seasons one and two are streaming on Prime Video.
