

Deadline has reported that HBO’s Euphoria is returning and will introduce 18 new cast members, whose characters have yet to be revealed. The new actors include Eli Roth (Night Always Comes, The Idol), Sam Trammell (True Blood, The Fault In Our Stars), Bella Podaras (Family Reunion, Barry), Cailyn Rice (1923, Valentine), Danielle Deadwyler (The Harder They Fall, Station Eleven), Gideon Adlon (Shape Island, Ghost), Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, Poker Face), Hemky Madera (Play Dirty, The Lincoln Lawyer), Colleen Camp (Clue, Silver), Homer Gere (August, The Shards), Jack Topalian (Sugar, Duster), Jessica Blair Herman (American Crime Story, Speechless), Kwame Patterson (The Wire, American Crime Story), Madison Thompson (Ozark, The Map That Leads To You), Matthew Willig (We’re The Millers, NCIS), Rebecca Pidgeon (Bird Box, Allegiant), Bill Bodner (Killer Psyche, Killer Psyche Daily) , and Trisha Paytas (Blood Queens, The Doctors).

According to Deadline, HBO recently released first-look images for this upcoming season.
Via Deadline, several returning actors have also been announced to return for the third season, including Dominic Fike (Little Death, Euphoria), Daeg Faerch (Hancock, Halloween), Nika King (Greenleaf, 65), Paula Marshall (Gary Unmarried, Californication), Melvin Bonez Estes (Euphoria, Fight To Be Me: The Dwen Curry Story), Alanna Ubach (Bombshell, The Last Of Us), Sophia Rose Wilson (Euphoria), and Zak Steiner (The Ghost Trap, Find Your Friends). Zendaya (Dune, Malcolm And Marie), Sydney Sweeney (The White Lotus, Anyone But You), Jacob Elordi (Salt Burn, The Kissing Booth), Alexa Demie (Waves, Mid90s), Hunter Schafer (The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes, Cuckoo), Maude Apatow (This Is 40, Knocked Up), Martha Kelly (Marriage Story, Corporate Animals), Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy, Feast), Chloe Cherry (Two Neighbors, Find Your Friends), and Colman Domingo (Lincoln, Selma) had all previously been slated to return.
Deadline has reported that new actors who had already been announced include Darrell Britt-Gibson (Keanu, 20th Century Women), Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct, Casino), Toby Wallace (Babyteeth, The Bikeriders), Anna Van Patten (Gossip Girl, Master), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Union, Farming), Marshawn Lynch (Bottoms, The League), Kadeem Hardison (White Men Can’t Jump, A Different World), Priscilla Delgado (Julieta, Killer Book Club), James Landry Hébert (1883, Stranger Things), Asante Blackk (When They See Us, This Is Us), and Rosalía in her television debut.
According to Deadline, the third season is set to take place after a time skip featuring the main characters as young adults. The expectation is that this season will be Euphoria’s conclusion.
Via Deadline, head of drama for HBO, Francesca Orsi, had previously discussed the possibility of ending the series with season 3. “We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end. I think you will be very satisfied with this season, and how we bring each of the characters’ whole narrative.”
Deadline has reported that production is currently underway in Los Angeles, utilizing a $19.4 million tax credit. The new season will premiere in 2026, four years after its last season aired.
According to Deadline, Sam Levinson (The Idol, Assassination Nation) created, wrote, directed, and executive-produced the series in tandem with A24. Euphoria has garnered 25 Emmy nominations over its previous two seasons, including nine wins. Among the wins are Zendeya for best actress in a drama series and Colman Domingo for best guest actor in a drama. Levinson won a DGA award for his directing work in the episode Stand Still Like the Hummingbird. In addition to its critical acclaim, Euphoria is one of HBO’s most-viewed series of all time.
