The cast for Only Murders In The Building has gained another player. As the fourth season rapidly approaches, the series has begun to load up its cast with many TV stars. Most recently, Deadline has reported that the Emmy-winning actor Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek) has joined the cast as a recurring character. The beloved comedic actor is already being met with excitement and high praise as fans are looking forward to seeing what he will do in the murder mystery series.
Only Murders In The Building is a series starring Martin Short (Innerspace, Three Amigos), Steve Martin (Cheaper By The Dozen), and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) as they investigate the murder of Sazz Pataki. Streaming on Hulu, the third season ended with the group contemplating heading over to the West Coast and spending some time in LA. While there has not been much uncovered and released by the series creators, fans do know that the fourth season will begin in Los Angeles, as the third season conclusion predicted.
Levy joins the cast of recurring characters next to actors Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live), Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada), and Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives, Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Not only does he join a star-studded cast of actors, but the new addition of Levy is a bit of a reunion. Both Short and Levy got their start in comedy acting on Second City TV and come from the same hometown in Canada. They have collaborated several times and both actors made cameos in the Father of the Bride films that also starred Martin.
While production has yet to begin on the fourth season, fans are just as happy with the short spurts of information that has been surfacing as the series begins its process. As usual, any hints and plotlines are being kept a secret to not spoil the twists and turns that the series may bring. While season four does not have a concrete premiere date, the first three seasons of Only Murders In The Building are streaming on Hulu.
