According to Deadline the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai is set to conclude its action-packed journey on February 13 with the release of part three of its sixth and final season. The newly dropped trailer reveals William Zabka (The Karate Kid, Just One of the Guys) who plays  Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio( The Karate Kid, My Cousin Vinny)  who plays Daniel LaRusso transitioning from bitter rivals to unlikely allies. As the series nears its end, the two characters face unresolved tensions while preparing for the ultimate showdown.

Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must confront their pasts and brace for an uncertain future in the final chapter. Following a shocking outcome at the Sekai Taikai tournament, Johnny and Daniel focus on their respective training regimens, with Johnny working with his son, Tanner Buchanan (He’s All That, Designated Survivor) who plays Robby and Daniel training his daughter, Mary Mouser (The Fosters, The Astronaut Wives Club) who plays Samantha. Meanwhile, Peyton List (Jessie, Bunk’d) who stars as Tory is getting into fighting shape by running track as Carsten Norgaard (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, The Banker) who plays Gunther Braun prepares to reset the tournament rules, ensuring no more drama between the dojos. “The Sekai Taikai is now on, and the dojos are going to have to compete with no more drama,” Deadline reports.

As the Deadline article highlights, with nearly four decades passing since the original 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Cobra Kai has masterfully built toward this final confrontation.
