It seems that on Monday all you will see is Family Guy. According to Deadline, FXX will air the entire catalog of the long-running Fox animated series.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 20, the Disney-owned cable network, along with Freeform, will air all 19 seasons of Family Guy re-runs. Hulu will continue to be the series’ exclusive streaming hub.
According to Deadline, FX Networks landed the off-network rights of Family Guy in 2019. Episodes of Family Guy were airing exclusively on TBS and Adult Swim. The show will permanently leave both networks and air exclusively on FXX and Freeform.
In addition, Futurama will also join the FXX lineup in November. However, it is not clear if Futurama will leave Syfy.
Family Guy will join a roster of animated reruns airing on the network, including Archer, Bob’s Burgers, The Cleveland Show, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons.
“We are airing the absolute ultimate collection of animated adult comedies on cable television,” Chuck Saftler, Head of Business Operations for ABC, Freeform, FX Networks and acquisitions at Disney, told Deadline. “This line-up is comedy gold that will provide FXX viewers with belly laugh after belly laugh.”
Family Guy will air on FXX weekly on Monday and Tuesdays from 8 PM to midnight, Thursdays 8 PM to 10, Saturdays from 8 PM to midnight, and Sundays from 10 PM to midnight.
