A fresh, official image for the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again gives glimpse into the new threads that Charlie Cox’s (Echo, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) Matt Murdock will be donning. According to Screenrant, we will be seeing the vigilante moving away from the solid red armor to a more imposing and sleek black suit.
The suit change symbolizes Matt’s renewed focus of his own sense of vigilante and compliments the high stake narrative about the resistances in the upcoming season.
The series’ executive producer, Sana Amanat (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ms. Marvel) goes on to speak in an interview with Screenrant about the changes for the upcoming season and states,” The landscape was open, and that was so liberating. We were like, ‘We can do whatever we want.’
Reported by Screenrant, the Marvel Studios’ creatives further adds in the interview about Matt’s action,”What does it mean for Fisk when he’s gotten everything he wants? When you give a person whose thirst cannot be quenched his most valued treasure, is it enough? Or does he squeeze his treasure too hard?”
According to Screenrant, Daredevil: Born Again will not stop at a second season, as the third season is currently in production.
