‘Ellen’ Hits Ratings High During 12 Days of Giveaways

Daytime talk show Ellen hit a viewership high during the show’s annual 12 Days of Giveaways.

According to Deadline, the daytime talk show reached its highest weekly household rating (3.0) and viewership (4.1 million) in three years the week before 12 Days of Giveaways. The show set a viewership high on December 2 (3.0 HH rating, 4.2 million), this included the first two days of the 12 Days Giveaway. Ratings went up the week of December 9, averaging 3.2 HH rating and 4.4 million viewers. The ratings race was tight with Ellen and Dr. Phil (3.3 HH rating).

Celebrities that visited the show included Jake Gyllenhaal, Lea Michele and Tom Hanks.

Ellen will likely match or set high marks for the week of December 16 when ratings are released next week.
