El Rey Network Casts Alfred Molina in New Drama

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alfred Molina will co-star in the upcoming El Rey Network drama, Matador.

Molina, who has worked in feature films such as Spiderman 2 and The Da Vinci Code, is cast as a soccer team owner and member of a secret and elite group of wealthy global players.

Matador will tell the story of a soccer star, played by Gabriel Luna, who uses his talents to cover that he is a highly skilled covert operative. The first thirteen episodes of the show will be directed by Robert Rodriguez.
