Eddie Kaye Thomas was cast in the CBS drama pilot Scorpion.
According to Deadline, he will co-star with Elyes Gabel. Also starring in the drama pilot is Jadyn Wong and Robert Patrick. The project comes from writer Nick Santora, director Justin Lin, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
Scorpion follows Water (Gabel), an eccentric genius and his super-genius friends who form a defense against the problems of the modern world. Thomas will portray Toby, a behaviorist and member of this super-genius team. Wong will play Happy, a mechanical genius who can build anything; he has hands with a surgeon’s precision and a magician’s inhuman speed.
Thomas is repped by Gersh. Wong is repped by Green & Assoc. and Toronto’s Characters.
