

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ed Westwick (White Gold, DarkGame) has stated he is down for a possible Gossip Girl spin-off. Fans of the series will be able to heat to iconic line I’m Chuck Bass,” once again if a spinoff could be in the works. Hits Radio UK recently asked Westwick if he would reprise Chuck Bass if a spinoff came to fruition.
“It would be super interesting to see where Chuck Bass is. I just think it would be really hard to get everyone together,” he said via The Hollywood Reporter. “You know what? I think anything is possible in this world, so yeah, it would be great to know what Chuck is up to these days — for sure!”
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Gossip Girl follows the scandalous lives of wealthy teens on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, narrated by a mysterious blogger who exposes their secrets, focusing on frenemies Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf as they navigate love, betrayal, and status. The series ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012. Elsewhere during his interview with Hits Radio UK, Westwick also revealed his favorite scene that he filmed from the show.
“My favorite scene was when I was at the top of the Empire State Building, but not so much because of filming it,” the Sandokan actor said via The Hollywood Reporter, referencing when Chuck was waiting for Blair at the top of the famous building during the season three finale. “They let me climb up in the needle of the Empire State Building, which nobody gets to go inside, except like the handyman or something. And it was just really really cool that I got to go up there. I was wearing like a full tux and climbed into this needle.”
He added via The Hollywood Reporter, “There was that. I mean, there were a million things we had a lot of fun doing. Some of those scenes in the back of the limos were great as well. Super super blessed to have been a part of that show.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is yet to be a spinoff of the series in the works there is a reboot that has been announced, a reboot of the show with a new cast ran for two seasons, from 2021 to 2023.
