The E4 original British comedy Maxxx has released a new trailer prior to its United States debut on Hulu, according to Deadline. Created by O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale), the comedy series premiered on the E4 channel and has amassed 6 total episodes, lasting thirty minutes each, during over a three-year span. The program is executive produced by Fagbenle and produced by his production company Luti Media. Currently, the show released its six-parts back in April 2020 and will debut its content on the streaming platform Hulu on July 28.
The series follows the titular character Maxxx, a boyband star that has fallen out of the spotlight, as he embarks on a mission to make a legitimate comeback in the music industry. This new mission is brought on by attempting to get back together with his ex-girlfriend who is a supermodel in addition to making the statement that he is still relevant. Fagbenle portrays the titular character and is also joined by the likes of Jourdan Dunn (Zoolander 2), Helen Monks (The Last Kingdom, Raised by Wolves), Alan Asaad (Unforgotten), Pippa Bennett-Warner (Sick Note, The Foreigner), Javone Prince (Little Miss Jocelyn, PhoneShop), and Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU).
Set to be introduced on Hulu on July 28, Maxxx acts as another addition to a long list of British programs on the streaming service.
