Following the release of its fourth episode, the first season of WandaVision, the first Marvel Studios and MCU television series to hit Disney+, has unveiled a new sneak peek trailer for the upcoming fifth episode, according to Den of Geek. The fourth episode “We Interrupt This Program” revealed some truths about the story world of the Marvel sitcom including S.W.O.R.D. monitoring the situation of Westview, New Jersey. This episode marked the MCU return of Jimmy Woo, portrayed by Randall Park (The Interview), and Darcy Lewis, played by Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls, Thor).
WandaVision’s fifth episode sneak peek depicted some of the aftermaths of the reveal of S.W.O.R.D. and some shots of Wanda and Vision on Halloween and other experiences with Westview. Furthermore, the new sneak peek also demonstrates the show returning to its sitcom, decade-hopping form with an homage to ABC’s Modern Family and its mockumentary one-on-one interviews. Furthermore, the short teaser also features Vision begins to question the Westview landscape.
WandaVision centers on the events following Avengers: Endgame and the relationship between Paul Bettany’s (A Knight’s Tale) Vision and Elizabeth Olsen’s (Wind River) Wanda in the idyllic suburbia of Westview. Currently, the show has been operating in a realm of mystique around the truths behind the existence of Westview and its fourth episode teases at the confusion about it from the government side. The series is in its first season, consisting of nine episodes, and is releasing new episodes every week on Friday since its two-episode premiere on January 15.
