The upcoming streaming series, Obi-Wan, is set to add to the growing list of Star Wars content and series on Disney+ and will now feature Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader, according to Deadline. Christensen was last depicted as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith in 2005.
Christensen’s return to the character was announced at the 2020 Disney Investors Day Presentation amongst the various Star Wars announcements for Disney+. Currently, the Obi-Wan series will also feature Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting) reprising the titular role he once portrayed in the prequel Star Wars trilogy.

Currently, the upcoming Star Wars spin-off series for Disney+ does not possess a premiere date on the streaming service.
