According to Comicbook.com, the Christmas special will be a double-length episode. This means it will be over 90 minutes long, and as it premieres, it will be streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Other special episodes that will air on Disney+ exclusively from this upcoming season of The Simpsons include “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet.” At the moment, there is no release date set yet. According to Comicbook.com, the animated series will release additional specials, like the Halloween-themed one, in October. The previous 35th season will be available for fans to stream in Disney+ from October 2. If anyone is interested in catching up on the entirety of the series, including The Simpsons Movie, they are all available to stream on Disney+ now.
