As reported by Comicbook.com a couple of months ago, Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, shared goals to reboot fan-favorite Pixar franchises, including The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Cars and many other series not included in the short Lego cartoon series.
“And so, with that goal in mind, we will focus even more on our core brands and franchises, which have consistently delivered higher returns. We will aggressively curate our general entertainment content. We will reassess all markets we have launched in and also determine the right balance between global and local content. We’ll adjust our pricing strategy, including a full examination of our promotional strategies,” Iger said.
This is not the only LEGO adaptation Disney plans to release. Less than two weeks ago, Star Wars released their trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy, which will also be available to stream on Disney+ on September 13, 2024.
