According to Deadline, the Disney+ program Agatha All Along has captivated audiences worldwide as the series received 9.3 million views in the first seven days since its debut. The information was stated and confirmed by the Walt Disney Company.
Disney determines the views by dividing the stream time by the runtime.
Although the data looks good for Marvel Studios, comparing it with other television series is difficult. Disney is careful in the viewing data for the shows released on the streaming service. Even then, the data can be inconsistent.
Additionally, there were five day tallies for Ashoka and The Acolyte that were also released. Percy Jackson and the Olympians received a six-day report along with those shows.
The Marvel series Loki has stayed as one of Disney’s compelling live-action performances of the superhero franchise. Last October, the Walt Disney Company stated that Loki season two assembled 10.9 million views within the first three days it came out.
Data was never released for WandaVision, the series behind why Agatha All Along came to be. However, the show broke out on the Nielsen streaming chart, making it quite popular. When information is given, it means that the series has been very successful. After this, it is certain Disney will keep viewers updated on important news on Agatha All Along as the show goes on. As of right now, there are three episodes available on Disney+. New episodes will air in October.
Nielsen will showcase the show’s performance; however, these numbers will not be revealed for a few weeks as Nielsen streaming reports are delayed for a month. Most likely, Agatha All Along will be on the list very soon, according to Deadline.
The logline is as follows: “The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after the suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven and set off down, down, down The Road.”
Jac Schaeffer (Black Widow, The Hustle), the head writer of WandaVasion, is the showrunner and director for the pilot episode.
Kathryn Hahn (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Step Brothers) takes on the role of Agatha. Other stars include Ali Ahn (Anya, Raising Dion), Aubrey Plaza (Parks And Recreation, The White Lotus), Debra Jo Rupp (That 70’s Show, WandaVision), Joe Locke (Heartstopper), Maria Dizzia (Orange Is The New Black, Christine), Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The Wilds, Smile 2), Okwui Okpokwasili (Bronx Gothic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Paul Adelstein (Prison Break, Private Practice), Patti LuPone (Steven Universe, Glee) and Sasheer Zamata (Home Economics, The Weekend).
MXDWN had an exclusive interview linked above with Zamata discussing her character, Jennifer Kale, and other witches, as well as her experience working on the show and other projects.
The executive producers are Schaeffer, Brad Winderbaum (Marvel Studios: Assembled, Thor: Love and Thunder), Kevin Feige (Deadpool & Wolverine, Iron Man), Louis D’Esposito (Agent Carter, The Marvels) and Mary Livanos (Captain Marvel, The Marvels). The directors are Gandja Montiero (Wednesday, On the Outs) and Rachel Goldberg (Muted, Neighbors).
