According to TV.com, the Disney Channel revealed today that they’ve decided on a finale date: February 16.
The show has been in the Disney Channel roster since April 2010 and will this way end its run of more than one hundred episodes.
The ending has already been revealed, with “Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) leaving for college and struggling to shoot one final video diary for her young sister Charlie (Mia Telerico)”, while “parents Amy and Bob Duncan (Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer) are planning a going-away party for Teddy” and then “a surprise guest — Teddy’s former boyfriend, Spencer — shows up unexpectedly.”
Good Luck Charlie‘s series high was, up until now, the episode in which baby Toby was born, which granted 8.9 million viewers to Disney Channel. The series also deserved a Christmas-themed TV movie, which managed to get 8.3 million viewers back in 2011.
It was also the first show on Disney Channel to feature a family with two moms.
The series finaly will air at 8/7c on Sunday, February 16, and a few old characters (chosen by the public) will be returning to guest-star and say their goodbyes.
