Disney+ Reveals Official Trailer For ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’

According to ComicBook, Disney+ has revealed the official trailer for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The series will premiere on the streamer on December 3 and debuts with two episodes. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett.

The series follows the journey of four kids who make a shocking discovery on their seemingly safe planet and then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. After discovering a buried spaceship, the four main characters begin their adventure. On their journey back home, they meet unlikely allies and enemies, such as space pirates.

The cast for the series includes Jude Law (The Order,Peter Pan & Wendy), Kerry Condon (The Banshees, Bad Samaritan), Ryan Kiera Armstrong (The Sensitive Kind, American Horror Story), Tunde Adebimpe (Strange Planet, The Invisible), Robert Timothy Smith (Mythic Quest, Dear Santa), Kyriana Kratter (The Healing Garden, United States of Al), Ravi Cabot-Conyers (The Resident, The Sheep’s Hotel), Micheal C. Bradford (General Hostpital, You), and many others. Jaleel White (Family Matters, Big Fat Liar) is also set to make an appearance in the series as a space pirate named Gunter. Nick Frost (The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead) will also make an appearance voicing SM-33 a droid that aids the main cast.

As per ComicBook, Law describes Frost’s character by saying  “He’s like a rusty old, cranky droid that sort of reluctantly helps the kids along the way. The other thing about him is that he’s the first mate of a mysterious ship.”

The official trailer shows Law’s character fighting through the galaxy to try to help the group of kids journeying through space and trying to get them reunited with their families.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is executive-produced by Jon Watts (Cop Car, The Old Man) alongside Jon Favreau (Prehistoric Planet ImmersiveThe Lion King) and Dave Filoni (Young Jedi Adventures, Star Wars: Forcers of Destiny). Christopher Ford (Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Clovehitch Killer) serves as a writer for the series.
