The Marvel television series Fury Files is set to debut on the streaming service Disney+ this upcoming Friday, May 15, according to NME. This comic book series will add to the ever-growing catalog for the streaming platform. Fury Files is an animated series that will center on the S.H.I.E.L.D. boss Nick Fury and overview all past encounters with legendary Marvel villains. Fury has been famously portrayed by actor Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. However, this depiction of the character will be voiced by Chi McBride (Boston Public).
Fury Files episodes have been previously released via the MArvel HQ Youtube Channel in the past, but will now be allowed to stream through the Disney platform. These episodes range from two to four minutes in length and cover the history and backgrounds for many classic Marvel characters. The Marvel content will add to the upcoming series that will be arriving on Disney+ in the near future including Wandavision, Loki, and Captain Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, unfortunately, these previously announced Marvel television series are currently delayed in production due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.
