The television reboot series of the beloved 90s film franchise will follow Graham as a mother of a youth hockey player, Evan, in the midst of finding a new team after being cut from the elite Mighty Ducks travel team. In the reboot series, Estevez’s Bombay will act as a reluctant participant in coaching youth hockey once more in an underdog fashion away from the Mighty Ducks branding. Brady Noon (Good Boys) will portray Evan and join the series in a featured role.
The reboot series will consist of ten episodes and is from the minds of Josh Goldsmith (The King of Queens), Cathay Yuspa (13 Going on 30), and Steve Brill (The Mighty Ducks). Currently, there is no announced premiere date.
