Disgraced ‘Bachelorette’ Star Facing Possible Third Probation Violation as More Domestic Violence Allegations Mount

Star of the most recent season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ Taylor Frankie Paul (The Bachelorette, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives), seems to have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire as The Guardian reports the emergence of a third domestic violence allegation that could possibly revoke her parole. These new allegations stem from reports made by her on-and-off again domestic partner, Dakota Mortenson, at the end of 2026. It appears the video of the incident may have been recorded back in mid-2024.

To make matters even worse, TMZ has reported that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, another show where Paul is the central figure, has shut down production for weeks and may be putting the kibosh on the entire show for good.  Apparently, the studio itself is conducting a third-party investigation into the domestic violence allegations, and the show’s fate may rest on the results.

The Cosmopolitan has revealed that, according to fellow ‘SLoMW’ star Mikayla Matthews (Vanderpump Villa, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives), it was fully the cast’s decision to pause production of the show as they didn’t feel comfortable filming amid the allegations. Although no domestic violence happened while cameras were rolling on the set, the cast seems to be done with Paul’s drama and may not be willing to work with her any more.

According to mxdwn, all of the drama began when a leaked video was released of Paul allegedly assaulting her ex, Mortenson, in front of their child, at one point even hurling a metal stool across the room at him as he deflects it like he worked summers at Waffle House or something. Mortenson also alleges that the stool hit their daughter.

In another article by The Guardian, the publication roasts Disney and Hulu+ for deliberately overlooking obvious red flags to catapult a controversial TikTok star into the spotlight and drum up viewership amid what they called a “flagging franchise.” They continued on to rebuke the entire industry and its haphazard focus on drama at any cost. More specifically, they claimed that the studio’s disregard for cast members’ safety by allowing them to work with an alleged violent cast member, and also promoting their brand off said cast member, is just “the latest example of legacy media overlooking red flags for influencer clout.” Matter of fact, they leaned into it by featuring body cam footage from the 2023 domestic violence incident in which Paul was actually arrested and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. It’s clear the studio is interested in ratings at all costs.
