Showtime’s hit series Dexter continues to bring in the ratings.
The thriller, which recently aired its eighth season premiere, broke viewership records during its summer airing, reports Entertainment Weekly. Dexter’s final season reached 2.5 million viewers, a four percent increase from last year’s premiere. Including its repeat, Dexter had 3.2 million total viewers for the night.
In addition, Showtime debuted its series Ray Donovan, which drew in the best ratings for an original series premiere in the history of the cable channel, bringing in 1.35 million viewers. The show stars Live Schreiber.
