As fans anticipate the vast amount of DC content to come at DC Fandome, HBO Max teases what’s to come in the third season of Harley Quinn set to drop sometime in 2022. Season three is currently in production.
While there was no finished product to present, the team behind Harley Quinn was able to give fans a quick glance at some of the animatics from next season. The teaser opened with Harley (voiced by Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (voiced by Lake Bell), now a couple, going on a “Eat, Bang, Kill” tour in Gotham.
Other characters teased for the third season included King Shark, Jim Gordon, and Dr. Psycho. Bane was seen swearing revenge on Harley, and new characters Amanda Waller and Swamp Thing were teased as well.
Harley Quinn was renewed for a third season in September 2020. The series, along with Titans, Doom Patrol, and Young Justice, moved to HBO Max after DC Universe became solely a digital comics subscriber. Pennyworth will also be moving to HBO Max as an original for its third season which is in production, which was announced this weekend at DC Fandome.
Harley Quinn was met with strong reviews for its first two seasons. Alongside Cuoco and Bell, the series also stars Alan Tudyk (Resident Alien), Ron Funches (Undateable), Tony Hale (The Mysterious Benedict Society), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), and J.B. Smoove (Spider-Man: Far From Home).
Season three will stream in 2022. Check out the teaser and DC Fandome presentation below.
