AMC called upon the rampaging Governor from The Walking Dead to lead in another show for the network.
David Morrisey will star in AMC’s new pilot Line of Sight while also shooting the fourth season of zombie drama, according to Deadline.
“We are huge fans of David Morrissey and are glad he’ll be doing double duty for AMC viewers through his work on The Walking Dead and our pilot for Line Of Sight, both of which are produced in Atlanta,” said AMC in a statement.
Line of Sight casting Morrissey gives way to speculation that the Governor’s days are numbered in the zombie apocalypse, although originally Morrissey only signed on for Season Three for his role, according to Rolling Stone.
Line of Sight captures “the life of Lewis Bent (Morrissey), a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who survives a mysterious plane crash and sets out to uncover the cause,” according to Rolling Stone.
