Take note, Game of Thrones fans. Co-creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have been announced as featured speakers at this year’s South by Southwest Conference and Festival, according to a press release.
“This programming represents global leaders using their talents as creative visionaries, and futuristic engineers advancing innovation,” said Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Officer. “Their contributions in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and the future of entertainment are just a few of the bigger-picture trends we see coming out of March 2017.”
It’s possible that Benioff and Weiss will talk about Game of Thrones and potentially drop some major plotlines at the conference about the upcoming seventh season. It’s also entirely possible that they could talk about plans to end the show, as it’s been confirmed that the eighth season will be its last.
According to the SXSW website, Benioff and Weiss will speak on Sunday, Mar. 12, though the time hasn’t yet been released.
Other entertainment figures who will be at the festival include Tom Cwik, Maggie Malone, Steve May, Wagner Moura, Alice Bragga and John Hopewell.

Early registration for the event ends this coming Friday at 11:59 PST. Those who register for the event before Friday will get an extra $200 off and will get a better hotel selection than those who register late. SXSW takes place March 10 through 19 in Austin, Texas.
