Danielle Panabaker’s Killer Frost Is Leaving Behind Some Comic Book Easter Eggs on The CW’s ‘The Flash’

Whenever a comic book based TV series draws comparisons and actions to those in the actual comics, fans get excited for a reason. Actors tend to tease certain comic book easter eggs in shows and movies as a homage. The Flash actress Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin Snow, does the same with her Killer Frost persona.

In the episode “Memorabilia”, Panabaker wears an outfit similar to the comic’s Killer Frost as a skier. Throughout the season, as more of Caitlin Snow’s Killer Frost will be seen, fans can expect some special moments of the beloved character. “I think it’s going to be really important,” Panabaker told ComicBook.com. “You know, toward the end of the season we saw Caitlin try to understand a little bit more of why she disappeared… so I think also this year she’s uncovering some mysteries about Killer Frost and how Killer Frost came to be and we’re going to see her delve into that.”

While figuring out more about her character, Panabaker will also be directing an episode on this season of The Flash. “I am so humbled by this opportunity to utilize everything that I have learned as a storyteller to bring an episode of The Flash to life,” she continued. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the chance to work alongside our extremely talented (and vast) team that works so hard to make each and every episode of the show. I wouldn’t be here without the support of my Flash family, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to continue to grow and challenge myself as an artist. “

There is no doubt that Panabaker will do a great job directing given her years working along with other actors, and learning from directors of her past works.

Continue watching Killer Frost on The Flash Tuesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
