Marvel fans were sent into a frenzy as D23 offered a tantalizing glimpse into the highly anticipated series, Daredevil: Born Again.According to Comicbook’s Phase Zero Podcast, the Disney convention released photo on their official X page, shown from the Time Variance Authority’s(TVA) time door’s perspective, of an alley with graffiti, with one side being Daredevil and the other being Kingpin. The teaser below is small, but it gives the impression that the series will maintain the same atmosphere as the original.
The rumored villain that could potentially make their debut in the new series is Muse, who could pose an obstacle for Daredevil with his body acting as a vortex to combat his enhanced senses. According to Comicbook,Muse was first introduced in 2016 and was created by Charles Soule (Star Wars: Dark Droids) and Ron Garney (BRZRKR #1). The character is a deranged artist known for using blood as his medium for creating twisted pieces. In the comic, Muse became a crazed fan of costumed vigilantes after being jailed. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the visual style and overall tone of the teaser strongly suggest that this enigmatic character could be making his MCU debut.
As production on Daredevil: Born Again continues, fans eagerly await more concrete information about the series and the potential role of this chilling new villain.Returning members will include Vincent D’Onofrio (The Magnificent Seven) as Kingpin, Charlie Cox (The Defenders) as the titled character, Elden Henson (The Mighty Ducks) as Foggy and Deborah Ann Woll (Escape Room) as Karen.
