‘Critical Role’ Community Raises Over $350K for L.A. Wildfire Relief

The “Freaky Thursday” charity livestream hosted by Critical Role last night was an overwhelming success, raising over $350,000 in just a few hours—more than double the original fundraising goal. According to Critical Role’s “Freaky Thursday” charity livestream The funds will go directly toward aiding those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

This campaign powerfully demonstrates how storytelling and community involvement can drive meaningful, real-world change. Viewers went beyond simply watching—they played an active role, unlocking pivotal in-game moments through donations, all while providing crucial aid to those in urgent need.

Even though the livestream has ended, the Critical Role Foundation’s wildfire relief campaign will continue through February 28. Ongoing donations will ensure that even more families and communities receive the support they need.

Here’s how the donations are being allocated:

  2. Latino Community Foundation’s California Wildfire Relief Fund: Supporting Latino-led organizations helping displaced families.
  3. LA Fire Department Foundation: Providing essential resources to first responders fighting the fires.
