The comedy that ended in 2012 has received an order of 13 episodes for the new season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, TBS announced that Courtney Cox and the rest of the team would return on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
Michael Writght, the president and head of programming of TBS, said “Cougar Town has been everything we hoped it would be: a smart, big-hearted, laugh-out-loud comedy that shines a bright light on the TBS brand.” ABC let go of Cougar Town last spring after the third season experienced a drop in ratings.
